The design for our Modern Wall-Mounted Trellises is based on the ideas of the Bauhaus Movement. This Movement of the 1920ties basically aimed to create objects and buildings which were suitable for mass manufacture. It used comparatively simplistic forms with little decoration which could be made quickly and efficiently. The Bauhaus Movement believed that objects should be functional, and meet the demands of society. Quiet a few of its followers aimed to create a ‘universal aesthetic’ or an ‘International style’ appropriate for all countries, regardless of culture or tradition.
