Bespoke Steel Conservatories – Built to Last, Designed for Everyday Living

Since 1998, Classic Garden Elements has been renowned for its distinctive steel garden decorations, winning awards at the Chelsea Flower Show and contributing to the gold-winning displays of Peter Beales Roses for over two decades. Our trellises, arches, and pavilions have become a hallmark of award-winning garden design. Now, our collection of bespoke steel conservatories, orangeries, pool houses, beach houses, garden pavilions, and greenhouses, established in Germany, is also available in the UK. As with all our products, we focus on high-quality materials and expert craftsmanship, ensuring that our conservatories stand the test of time with minimal maintenance. Steel offers strength and durability that other materials simply can’t match, making it ideal for year-round structures.

Timeless Elegance & Playful Follies – Conservatories with Character

While many of our designs follow established classical traditions for orangeries and conservatories, some of our structures break the mould—bold, unexpected, and playfully extravagant follies. Our styles range from Classic and Victorian to Art Deco and Bauhaus. Every piece is made to measure, tailored to individual requirements. We also develop custom solutions for challenging sites, ensuring that each project fits seamlessly into its surroundings—or stands out proudly. Beyond design and fabrication, our team supports clients at every stage, from initial consultation and planning permission to final installation. Durable Steel Conservatories, Made to Last

All our conservatories are built from hot-dip galvanised steel, providing exceptional protection against corrosion. The steel is fully galvanised inside and out, including all weld seams, ensuring long-term resistance to rust and wear.

After galvanisation, each structure is powder-coated in a selection of colours, typically from Farrow & Ball, known for their deep, high-quality finishes. This combination of galvanisation and powder coating makes our conservatories resilient enough for coastal climates, where salty air can take a toll on other materials.

Because of its strength, steel allows for large-scale designs, including double-height conservatories—something that materials like wood, aluminium, or PVC simply can’t achieve. It’s also the best choice for fully insulated, year-round living spaces, offering both durability and energy efficiency.

We offer single, double, and triple-glazed options, depending on the purpose of your conservatory. Single glazing is ideal for greenhouses or seasonal spaces, while double and triple glazing provide the insulation needed for year-round use.

To ensure a comfortable indoor climate, all our conservatories come with electronically operated roof and floor vents as standard. These can be connected to a smart climate control system, working in tandem with heating and ceiling fans to regulate airflow and temperature throughout the seasons.

Smart Shading & Planning Support

Shading is an important factor, especially for south-facing conservatories or warmer climates. We offer a variety of custom shading solutions, tailored to specific site conditions to ensure comfort and usability all year round.

As with most permanent structures, conservatories generally require planning permission. Our team provides full support, assisting with the preparation of necessary planning application documents.
