The Gaineswood conservatory is a stunning blend of classic design and solid craftsmanship, made from fire-galvanised and powder-coated steel. Its colour—Farrow & Ball’s subtle “Green Smoke”—gives it a timeless yet fresh look. The structure is all about clean lines, symmetry, and large glass panels held by slim steel frames, allowing plenty of natural light.
With a spacious footprint of 5.27 metres by 4.12 metres, this high-quality heated conservatory offers loads of possibilities. At four metres high, the gently sloping glass roof adds to the light, open feel, making it a bright and welcoming space.
Adding a bit of flair, there’s a gilded statue of Mercury—the winged messenger of Greek mythology—perched on top. It’s a faithful bronze reproduction of Giovanni da Bologna’s Flying Mercury, finished with gold leaf. While it’s a real eye-catcher, it’s also optional and available at an extra cost.
Whether you’re hosting a drinks reception, a small gathering, or a formal meeting, the Gaineswood conservatory makes a great setting. It’s equally at home as a stylish lounge, a cosy tea room, or a quiet space to unwind.
If you’re planning to use it just in the warmer months, single glazing does the job. But if you want to enjoy it all year, we offer double or even triple glazing for top-notch insulation. The version shown here is fully kitted out to stay warm and comfortable even in the depths of winter, with no condensation or foggy windows.
This model also comes with underfloor central heating, hidden beneath decorative metal grilles, so warm air rises along the walls. At three metres, discreet infrared heaters provide extra warmth, while a near-silent ceiling fan keeps the air circulating gently to prevent humidity build-up. The movement is so subtle you won’t even notice it. Electric roof vents and ground-level air intakes keep fresh air flowing.
For effortless temperature control—even when you’re away—an electronic system can manage the heating, infrared panels, roof vents, air intakes, and, if needed, the fan and sunshades.
Gaineswood’s design takes inspiration from classic Georgian architecture, with its symmetry and timeless style. The strong steel supports, shaped like pilasters, nod to traditional columns, while the tall, narrow windows give a hint of orangery charm. The gently sloping glass roof balances classic design with a bright, airy feel.
